I don't understand how a browser plugin can delete a license key. I have extensions in Chrome. I will start using Edge to access Emby. There are no additional plugins.

After 8 hours, I tried to open the movie on my tablet and saw that there was nothing in the downloads. I looked in the app on my iPad - there was a circle spinning there. I came home, logged in through Edge and saw that the circle was spinning here too. In the interval between successful offline viewing and deleting all the downloaded movies, I did nothing with Emby. I closed all open Embi pages in Chrome in the morning, before entering the key. I am attaching logs for two days. ebr 16169 Posted February 19, 2025 Posted February 19, 2025 I would try disabling or white-listing Emby with your Anti-virus. That sounds like exactly the kind of thing that could be causing this type of behavior. 1

I lost my license when I was away from home and the computer was turned off. I was going to work - watching Emby downloaded to the iPad, and when I returned from work I saw that all the files had already been deleted and there was no license or the circle was spinning.

As this would appear to only be a issue on your setup but server logs obviously show this is a intermittent issue as they show validation.

Your specific Emby environment. As there is no way for me to replicate your issue on my system. But your issue is sounding more like a offline mode issue if it is only related to downloads.
