Unable to access Emby forum unless I use a VPN

Hello I wasn’t sure where to post but can only access the Emby forum if using a vpn 

looks like a dns routing issue. 
 

got a few other people to check it and they’ve got the same. Based in uk.

1. Use an alternate DNS server.  I think google still offers 8.8.8.8
2. Report to your host that the DNS server is not updating for .media.
3. Also try flushing your dns cache. Windows command line: ipconfig /flushdns
4. emby.media uses nameservers from domaincontrol.com. The NS lookup is duplicated with Akamai servers in Belgium and the US. Check and see if you cannot ping the Belgium flag servers in the list below.  If you do a traceroute to each server, you can sometimes see a peering issue.  If you are in the Midlands and tracert 2.16.40.67 goes to Switzerland first and then to Belgium, it's probably that the .media domain has not been updated correctly to all master DNS lists and the routing doesn't get a lot of use to raise any alert to force updates. Correct tracerroute should go directly to Belgium or to the USA.  Anyway, my background with Akamai is more QA and site setup and not distributed cloud network troubleshooting, so some of this is just a guess.
