Salve ,vorrei capire come configurare la TV su emby ,ho cercato di capire un po sul form e sul sito,ma non sono riuscito a capire bene come dovrei configurare ,qualcuno mi potrebbe aiutare ? Dovrei comprare qualche componente ?

OK first you will need to find an IPTV provider. They'll give you an m3u, and then you can import that m3u into emby server.

But that's what the Hauppauge is...  (there are two forms of antenna cable plug, but that's a trivial matter).

Ma questo e solo un adattatore giusto ? Io pensavo che era un componente tipo come un digitale terrestre da inserire vicino al PC

You mentioned Hauppauge - but do you actually have one of their tuners?  They can be either PCIe or USB.  If not, you may find an HDHomeRun simpler to use (you don't need to install extra software for it as you do for the Hauppauge devices, and they connect by ethernet).

That should be fine. 

You have to install the Hauppauge WinTV software, because Emby server uses the driver that's included in it - Emby doesn't at present see the hardware directly (that will come in a later version of Emby - not 4.9, but the next one).

Just to make sure you're aware, many people prefer HDHomeRun device/tuners vs Hauppauge tuners as they are network devices allowing them to be setup near the cable/OTA equipment vs having to possibly run TV coax to your server location which adds additional loss to the signal. HDHomeRuns are ideal for getting dense tuner count as for example in my system with 3 Prime, 2 Quatro & a VBox for 9 cable and 12 OTA tuners available for use from any device or PC running Emby Server and not use a single PC slot. Windows/Linux/Android OS use makes no difference which is a bonus vs being forced to use Windows.

I slipped VBOX in there as it's worth a look as well as the HDHomeRun.  The VBox Android TV Gateway can function as both an Android client and a 4 tuner device for double use if needed.

You'll export a M3U playlist from the VBox which is very easy to do via the TV setup on that device.
On Emby you setup an M3U tuner with the URL the vbox gives you.

The integration between the two is as simple as that.

Once the channels are setup in Emby, you can add Emby's guide data and have a killer TV setup.
