Simple WAN guide connecting Terramaster NAS to external devices via Emby?

Hello,

Could someone point me out to a simple guide or give instructions to connecting Emby on my TerraMaster to my Windows 11 laptop and Samsung Galaxy phone? I done this via LAN successfully, I'm just trying to figure it for WAN so I can remotely access my NAS while I'm away.

I'm not very tech savvy so I'm trying to learn what I can as I'm going along with this.

Thanks for the response, but I am seriously lost in this. There's got to be a simpler solution to this. I've used my mobile phone as a hotspot, connected my laptop to the phone connection to see if I can access emby via WAN, but no luck. And of same for trying to access Emby on the phone via the phone data connection.

But again via LAN no problem at all for all devices, I can access Emby with all the content assigned to it from my TerraMaster NAS.

Just to add I do use NORD VPN on both phone and laptop, but even with that turned off makes no difference. I might see if using a feature called Meshnet on NORD might help maybe?
