Restore doesnt work

it seems to be stock at the very beggining. when i start "restore from back up" the turning whell is turning for hours and nothing happens. i tryed to restart serwer. couple of times nothing works

Hi, it works just fine, but depending on the size of the backup it can take a long time. If you still think there's an issue then please attach the emby server log:

Are you can tell me how long? my back up size is around 5gb. i have this on for a night and still it is not finisehed... waiting for me is not a problem i can wait a week as long as i know that it is working.... how can i determine that?

It depends on the size of the backup, the performance of your machine, performance of your disk I/O. So lots of factors involved.

But it looks like you tried to make changes in Emby library setup during the restore?

well.. yes i didnt knew if it is working so i tryed to do few things

So the last step of the restore process is that the server either will automatically restart, or it will just shutdown entirely if auto-restarting isn't supported on your platform. In this situation, you just need to manually start it again after that happens. 

But I wouldn't do anything until that happens. I would do the restore again and then wait for that to happen. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

it did work eventually, after tenth time haha  there was an error couple of times but i tryed again and again and i did it im very glad. thank you for your support
