ytrailers for Qnap ?

Can we get a Qnap version of ytrailers ? @radeon

I have the Qnap TS-462 and emby server runs like a champ on it. Just need ytrailers to complete the package.

If the excising plugin would work on the Qnap, where would i install this on the Qnap? What location?

hi, I would imagine the plugin is platform independent so therefore you don't need a qnap-specific version.

Thanks Luke, That would be great if so, i would just need to know how to install in.

I bought the plugin and used it on windows before and install was easy, but i have no idea how to install it on the Qnap and how to get to the plugins folder.

Yes these NAS systems are a little bit work on the users part ssh into the system.

qnap path

/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/EmbyServer/programdata/plugins

You have to remember to verify the dll permissions when you place the plugin dll into this folder.

As the devs really should have an upload option in the UI to upload plugins to make is easier on all users.

That's beyond my skillset. Going to have to pass. But i bet this will help others in the future.

You are right, These NAS units could be more user friendly on some things.
