New Content Not showing up

Hi

When I load new videos from my phone to my hard drive, it doesn't show up on my emby server for several days. This has started happening in the past month.
prior to this, new videos would show up on my emby server within minutes.

Is there a setting I need to turn on, in order to update on the fly? I thought I had  something like this set, but cannot find it now

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

sure thing

please see the attached pictures. 1 picture shows my local hard drive with all specific videos in this folder. I placed a few red boxes around the videos on that drive, that do not show up on my emby. See the other (3) pictures of my emby videos for that folder. The videos missing were placed on the hard drive nearly 20 hours ago, but are still not reflective on the emby server. as of recent, it is taking several (3-4) days for emby to reflect videos I place on my hard drives. It might be something in my settings. About 2 weeks ago, i formatted my computer which was running the emby server, and that is when the delay began to take place.

Hi, did you run a library scan after adding the new content?

No I did not. Does Emby not automatically scan for new files?  I do, on occasion, perform library scan when items do not show up, however, I thought my Emby sever use to Update automatically? Was I incorrect in this assumption?

It does pick up new files automatically if the option is enabled on the library and if the real-time monitor supports the drive that the media is stored on.

Hi, in Emby library setup just click on a library and it's one of the first few settings right near the top.
