How do I make a library entry that plays the video from an existing library entry?

I have searched but can't seem to find the answer.

And thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.

By the question in the title, I mean to ask, how do I make a series of movie entries that some play the movie of their name while others play the movie of a different name but is a movie includes the character or subject.  Is there a way and if so, how?

Ex.:

1. "Thor 1" plays the "Thor" movie. (Which is in the 'Thor' folder.)

2. "Thor 2" plays the movie "The Avengers" (Which has Thor as a character in the movie. But the movie is elsewhere in the library.)

3. "Thor 3" plays the movie "Thor: The Dark World" (Which is in the 'Thor' folder.)

4. "Thor 4" plays the movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (Which has Thor as a character in the movie. But the movie is elsewhere in the library.)

5. "Thor 5" plays the movie "Doctor Strange" (Which has Thor as a character in the movie. But the movie is elsewhere in the library.)

6. "Thor 6" plays the movie "Thor: Ragnarok" (Which is in the 'Thor' folder.)

7. "Thor 7" plays the movie "Avengers: Infinity War" (Which has Thor as a character in the movie. But the movie is elsewhere in the library.)

8. "Thor 8" plays the movie "Avengers: Endgame" (Which has Thor as a character in the movie. But the movie is elsewhere in the library.)

9. "Thor 9" plays the movie "Thor: Love and Thunder" (Which is in the 'Thor' folder.)

Use collections and just put 1 movie in each collection and then you can name them as you like.

Ex. If I have a movie named "Raiders of the Lost Ark" I could put it in a collection named "Raiders of the Lost Ark 1" the movie would play when I play the collection.
If i have another collection named "Raiders of the Lost Ark 2" and in it I have "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" when I press play on "Raiders of the Lost Ark 2" the "Temple of Doom" movie will play.

That seems like the simplest solution for what you want but I think you could also use sim-links to get to the same place but the collection method seems easiest to me.

You will have to attach your own images as collections that do not have recognizable names do not automagically get images.

That almost does what I want, but I'm not finding how to make the "collection" entries, like "Thor Collection" show in the "Movies" category.

But I haven't looked into sim-links yet.

Look at the three dot menu in the display section near the top of the screen in that you need to select "group items into collections" and then collections will be displayed in line but be aware that a movie in any collection will not be displayed although a movie can be in hundreds of different collections if needed.

Thanks.  I believe I can make that work for what I want.
