miketunes 0 Posted February 9, 2025 Posted February 9, 2025 Ember doesn't seem to be detecting them, is there a certain type of media I need to set it as?

ebr 16184 Posted February 9, 2025 Posted February 9, 2025 Hi. You setup a library of type "Music" and it contains MKV files?

miketunes 0 Posted February 9, 2025 Author Posted February 9, 2025 Ah great you got it working, I just did the defaults - fresh install of Emby. So you got it working as music media type, did you check certain scanning options?
rbjtech 5284 Posted February 10, 2025 Posted February 10, 2025 Unless the MKV has a video stream, then they should be MKA files. If they are MKA, then Emby should (I believe) pick them up in them up in an Audio/Music library. If MKV, then it will ignore them (by design). If MKV, test this, but you should literally be able to rename the files as MKA without any further processing required.

Gotcha - yes I believe that will work, I wonder how Happyp2play was able to add them without renaming.
