Second server, users don't stay logged in.

I have now started to migrate some content over to a second machine, and have a second instance of emby server on that.

The problem I am facing is that on my android app (and the amazon firetv app) I get logged out when I close the app, even though I checked the "Angemeldet bleiben" (stay logged in) box.
Sometimes I open the previously closed app It asks me for the user and pw of the old server, I have to switch to the new one and then log in. It never remembers which server I logged in to.

On android, when I clear cache I get logged out, and It always offers me the first server over the newer one, which I don't want to use on my phone, or on the TV.

Also, when I then select "change server" It only sometimes shows me the other one in the top left, and it appears to randomly show me the new one there if I repeat this by going back and re-selecting "change server".-

Ideally, I'd like to prioritize the servers I have here, or blindly hide one of them from the login screen.
I'd guess this is also a problem for people using a lan-lan bridge over the internet, where each end has a local server, but you'd want to prefer the local one over the far one.

Is this a known Issue, and is there a solution to this for me?

I don't want to just turn off the old one via console and enable it again every time I want to use it (`sudo service emby-server stop`), but I guess that's possible, and would of course solve my issue.

I do want to keep the servers strictly separate. I know of the library access features. It for example shows all matched actors for everyone, always, no matter the configured library access.

Hi, what do you mean by clear cache?

blindly hide one of them from the login screen.

You can delete a server from the server selection screen.

When you created this second instance; did you start from scratch, or did you copy files (specifically the /data/ directory of emby server) from the original server?

In the android settings for the app. App-info, storage, clear cache (actual wording might be different, my locale is german)

I did, it re-appears.

Ah, of course I used an export, imported it and changed the paths of the libraries, the display name of the new server, entered my premiere key, the hostname is different anyway.

But I did not copy any files manually outside of the backup interface. I had some trouble with it, but was last year and I don't quite remember. I did input multiple exports until I got what I wanted. I then let it scan the libraries I've set up. Some hickups with permissions, but that's all.

Delete device.txt from programdata\data folder of second instance, restart server.

Maybe this should be a question it asks me when i import a backup.

Whether i want it to be a clone, or a (deep-)copy alongside the instance the backup is from.

What he mentioned above is already a question that is asked during the restore.
