gogginguy 4 Posted February 8, 2025 Posted February 8, 2025 I restored from yesterday's backup, which went well. Posters show as they had (full) when backup finished. Then I scanned for changes.. the Primary view posters are then replaced with landscape images in the poster sized (portrait) view. See image. version 4.8.8.0 (linux)
gogginguy 4 Posted February 8, 2025 Author Posted February 8, 2025 log entry: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file '/config/metadata/library/c1/c15810aecf9662c8ba809133102c15c7/poster.jpg'. Why? Not in the backup? Why doesn't it go out and get the poster?
Luke 42077 Posted February 8, 2025 Posted February 8, 2025 HI, did you choose not to include /metadata/library in your backups? If not, then you'll need to manually refresh the metadata on existing content.
gogginguy 4 Posted February 8, 2025 Author Posted February 8, 2025 All boxes checked: Include Metadata Subfolders in Backup metadata/library metadata/musicalbums metadata/musicartists metadata/people
gogginguy 4 Posted February 8, 2025 Author Posted February 8, 2025 Here is a screenshot. The ones missing are ones that I have not specifically assigned a pic. These are randomly generated -- but haven't done so.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 9, 2025 Posted February 9, 2025 Probably need to see the server log but sounds like there is a issue in the /metadata folder as it either did not backup or possibly restore correctly. But per your snippet I guess it did not backup. Did you verify the said image exists?
gogginguy 4 Posted February 12, 2025 Author Posted February 12, 2025 Apologies -- I have not confirmed they exist. I had to fix this problem with a metadata refresh, which I assume wiped out any old files. If you'd like a copy of one my backups from before all this, and the current backup, I can attach them. 1
