Up Next and Previous button

Up Next button does not a appear on any apps (web, LG TV etc) unless I am playing video files from collection.

If I am in folder view and navigate to individual folder in the library which contains multiple videos in it, and if play the first video, I do not see the play next or previous button. Basically works like a stand alone file. I have to go back, select the next file and then play it.
If I search for an actor and browse the videos tagged under the actor, even then, it doesn't show up.

Does play next work only if the library type is "TV Shows"? or if you are playing content from collections?

If so, any chances have get a play next button irrespective of the library type/content view type (MoviesSuggestionsTrailersCollectionsGenresTagsFavoritesFolders) I am on?

Hi, no, if you hit play all on a folder, then it will also apply to that.

Thank you. Yes, that seems to work, but if I play an individual file in a folder instead of "play all", I won't be able to, right?
I do not want to pile this on top of all the feature requests but just curious, does implementing play next button when playing an individual file require creates any complexity?
Like if I play a video file using Media Player Classic app on my PC, the "next" button simply picks the next video in the folder.

It will also work if you play by clicking play all from here

Thanks a lot, Luke!!!
That is all I needed. I was so used to using the "... " to edit metadata and "identify" never thought of looking there for paly all.

Oh wait......When I click on a video and select play all from here, it's opening a random video in the folder and collection rather the video I selected to begin from (up next button is visible though). When I click play next, the correct "next" file plays but the first video is being pick randomly instead of the one I am choosing.

Edit: This is happening in only those folders/sub folders where there are collections. However, I am picking anything to play from collections,

This is how it is right now.
Type 1) MainFolder/Folder1/videos + collections
Type 2) MainFolder/Folder2/videos

Difference is Type 1 has collections and Type 2 doesn't.

When I click play in Type 1, it correctly picks the first video and I can see the play next button.

However, in the same folder, if click "..." on a particular video and select "Play all from here" it pick a random video in the folder and starts playing from there instead of starting from the file I chose.

BUT!!!.
In Type 2, where there are no collections, when I click "..." on a particular video and select "play all from here", it correctly picks the the video I have chosen and plays from there.

Let me know how can I further help, either with screenshot or whatever you need.
