Theme music questions

I notice that the new MBC Beta now supports 'theme music and video backdrops without the need for a separate plugin'. How does this work exactly? Do I need to make any changes to the config? Will it just work on TV Shows, or does it work for movies as well? Would I still need the server side plugin?

It just means you don't need the MBC plug-in anymore.  All other requirements are the same.
