I'm not a newbie - but I can't even find people having the same problem as me here...

I dusted off and reset my NVIDIA Shield 2017, in order to get a media server set up for my 6 year old.

Installed a 0.5TB USB flash drive, set it up as integrated storage, installed the Emby APK - all good, the premier key worked like a charm.

The issue is, I can't see where the Emby server is connecting to the library, I can't add any content, because in my file manager I simply don't see any common folders that I can see from the add library feature.  I read this: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4437/~/how-to-write-to-usb-shared-storage-on-shield - but can't find the folder NVIDIA_SHIELD, which is supposed to be the (writable) root.

Spent a day on this already, please can someone throw me a bone.

NVIDIA_SHIELD folder will be created (or you can create one yourself) only if you use external storage; since you've mounted your flash drive as internal storage, your Shield can read/write from/to any accessible location; just create your media folder in any readable/writeable folder and name it as you like.

You, Mr Reaper, are a legend.  All I was missing was this:  /storage/emulated/0/EMBY - and I went on a NAS wild goose chase.

Hahaha - "throw me a bone" I said.  Up pops the Grim Reaper.  I wasn't  expecting that one, which is part of the charm of the Grim Reaper I reckon.
