Unaudiable bitrate when playing music

Hi, been using emby server for a couple of years, playing mp3 and flacs in my car.

Recently i had a couple of issues of uhorrible sound quality, so i've started investigating, it wasn't my DPS in car, it wasn't my toslink, it wasn't my DAC/bluetooth adapter then i've checked emby and saw that my flac was compressed to 9kbps!

Is there a way to restrict emby compressing my audiofiles and just pass them as they are?

i'm sorry if i couldn't find it in server settings in advance, but i'm stuck andcan'tfind the way... it doesn't do that all the time but when it does it couldtake a couple of restarts of the app to make it right...

Will make a screenshot next time it happens. but still... is there a way to force passthrough for flacs and mp3?

Hi @Sushibathere is nothing to force. Emby apps will always direct play those formats whenever possible. Again if you think you're not seeing that, then let's look at a specific example:
