I have checked absolute everything I know to check and it all seems (still) setup correction. Allow remote access is still checked on the server and for the users My router still has pass-through enabled for the IP address & port shown in the server settings. What else is there to check? I've tested it myself from my phone and Emby Connect and neither will work. I can only get to the server on my internal network. I am clueless where to go from here --- if it doesn't work according to the standard instructions -- or just all of a sudden quits --- I have no idea what to do. My family will be devastated if I can't get this resolved Attached are print screens of the server setup and the router settings. Thank you for any help. hemsimmons 0 Posted February 3, 2025 Author Posted February 3, 2025 It times out and states that "we're unable to connect to the selected server right now"... It was originally TCP. I was trying everything to get it to work. It won't connect whether it's TCP, UDP, or TCP & UDP.

hemsimmons 0 Posted February 3, 2025 Author Posted February 3, 2025 No VPN. The IP address does actually match Emby -- it didn't match what I had saved in my reference file which I evidently didn't update. The port is not accessible however.

As your ISP may have changed something.

Which, if I am reading correctly, means I have to contact them for a static address now?
