Hours or days - but it will be more a kind of "trash build" - to get a picture of what's working and what's broken (I don't think it's a lot, but we'll see..)

This size adjustments for TV viewing are built into my custom css for Web Emby using a TV App browser.  I added code to look at the screen size and made some menu size adjustments for 16:9 TV monitors.  It's only a partial fix, because TV browser apps really do not like scrolling down on the Home Page.  Scroll works on Media pages.  Libraries need to load with alpha links to combat the scrolling problem.

The question is about the Windows App for which this does not apply.

It will have bugs, though. Haven't had time to go through everything. But basics should be all working.

got it, backspace key doesnt work but everything plays fine just like the new player including the truehd passthrough bug.

the menu tick sound stops working but its the same on the emby app and even the old electron.

Hearing these sounds is impossible as long as you tell the player to transport the original bitstream to the receiver. There's no way for the UI feedback sounds to get into it.
That's why Xbox for example prefers to decode everything (all multi-channel audio) for being able to mix-in other sounds. Then it sends it either as uncompressed audio over HDMI or (afaik) can even encode it als Atmos for sending (to that nothing gets lost).

The only other alternative would be through your receiver. If it allow to mix another source into the multi-channel audio from HDMI you could set the default audio out on the PC to onboard audio and only the player to HDMI audio. Then you can connect the onboard audio to the receiver (analog or digital) and let it mix-in the UI sounds.

the sounds work for while then stop no biggy.

backspace not working is about the only bug.

Backspace-back is just internal config.

No other bugs?`Have you tried remote control? Text size and theme switching (to MC Deep)? Settings?

I dont want to mix sounds, only hear them when browsing the menu not when playing a movie.

yes have changed txt size, mc deep is the default theme.

I've seen that but it wasn't effective. Only after switching to normal and back to deep it got dark. For you?

yes, menu sounds stop completely after playing the first movie. mpv must lock out windows audio somehow, exclusive mode issue?

The old theater app and emby for windows do the same thing.

oh the window icons, min, max and X you have to pick slightly underneath.

on startup keyboard doesnt work, have to pick somewhere with the mouse then shes away.

dont have my logitech remote to check operation but it was mapped to the keyboard anyway.
