Library Not Showing Up

I have libraries that just aren't working - and I'm wondering if it could be file permissions. Any ideas why certain videos/pics just aren't recognized?

Is it entire libraries not showing, or items within a library not showing? 

If it's the former, make sure your Emby user has been granted access to said library.

I created a new library & got it to work; but this has been happening on occasion... where the media is just not recognized. Is there a difference between "mixed content" and "home movies & photos"?

home videos is more of a raw folder view. mixed content really means mixed movies and tv, but your files and folders within that still need to be following movie and tv naming guidelines.
