aVe2000 13 Posted January 28, 2025 Posted January 28, 2025 hello together, first i want to say thanks for the new xbox version. I love it so much second i have a question regarding tv recording and series. There is a popular crime series (Tatort) in germany for more than 50 years by now. Its always a 90 minutes episode and there are now more then 1200 episodes. at the tv database its ordered by the year. So, the first episode is S1971E01. One of the last episodes could be S2025E05. I programmed the tv recording for this series. As it is not detected as a series a used the keyword "Tatort" for it. But the episodes are recorded with a name like "Tatort Das Ende der Nacht 2025_01_28_00_30_00.ts". Is it somehow possible to change the naming in such a way, that the episodes are recorded in a tvdb compatible manner? (btw: i did not find a way to record tatort as a series without the keyword). Kind regards
Luke 42078 Posted January 28, 2025 Posted January 28, 2025 Hi, what guide data are you using? Does it include season and episode numbers?
aVe2000 13 Posted January 29, 2025 Author Posted January 29, 2025 hello Luke, thanx for your fast answer. Actually i do not know. Its epg.best, what i use. So does it depend on the epg guide? Then i should ask the epg provider? Kind regards
Luke 42078 Posted February 4, 2025 Posted February 4, 2025 @aVe2000the season and episode numbers come from the guide data, so if it doesn't have those, then the recording will be saved using the date in the filename. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
