Clarification on scheduled task timers?

It was always my understanding that Emby kinda tried to find a time to run its scheduled tasks (ie. scan for new media, server backup, etc) when no one was on.  Due to circumstances, people are now using Emby watching stuff around the time these tasks kick off (8pm-ish) and I'd like to change when they run.

I looked at the knowledge base article and it said how to change the times.  So I went into Scheduled Tasks in the server settings, and changed the time on everything.  For instance, I set the server backup to run at 1am when no one would ever really be using it.  But it's still running whenever it wants to (~8pm) instead of the time I set it to (1am).  Seems to be ignoring the time I set for the task.  What am I missing?

It's not a huge deal, it just makes more sense to me for the backup to be taken when everyone is done for the night, instead of right in the middle while it's actively being used.  And I'm trying to understand how the scheduled tasks actually work.  Appreciate any insight on it.

EDIT: I'm on Emby Server version 4.8.10.0

Hi.  Tasks can have multiple triggers.  When you added the new time-based one, did you also remove the one that was already there (sounds like maybe an every 24 hours one)?

@ebrI did remove any additional ones...

Though on further investigation, I think the time zone might be off.  The log is indicating 17:15:00 where the last activity on the server was actually around 12:15:00.  About 5 hours difference makes sense between 8pm and 1am.  I guess I could just set the triggers 5 hours ahead, but any idea where Emby gets that from?  My Synology NAS has the correct system time.

HI, I would make sure the time zone is correct both on the server machine, as well as the device that you're configuring it from.
