I play the ORIGINAL VERSION, come back to finish watching it and it plays the RESTORED VERSION; the RESTORED VERSION is the default. I answering my own question, but wanted to know really? Any way to have ROKU or any other device play the movie that was started playing no matter the default version? I have to go in and click the ORIGINAL VERSION. I know if I let it sit for a while I won;t remember the version I started with.
ebr 16169 Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 Hi. There is a lot of discussion on this throughout the forums. This is not particular to the Roku. The versioning in Emby is designed for different qualities, not different editions. Therefore, the best version (from a quality and playback standpoint) is selected by each client each time.
