jemmii 0 Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 (edited) Hi everyone, I'm currently managing a large media library on my Emby server, and I'm facing challenges with performance optimization, especially when it comes to fast content indexing and smooth streaming on multiple devices simultaneously. I've tried adjusting transcoding settings and optimizing metadata retrieval, but I'm still experiencing occasional buffering and slow library scans. I'm considering hardware upgrades, but I'd love to explore software-based optimizations first. I recently came across software development services that provide tailored solutions for optimizing media server performance. However, I’d like to hear from the community—what are your go-to strategies for keeping Emby running efficiently with large media collections? Any tips on server settings, database optimization, or best practices for handling high-demand streaming would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! yocker 1247 Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 Sorry, this really looks like hidden advertisement or a scam. You are not willing to get hardware upgrades but okay with spending on some "professional media server performance optimization"? Professional optimization of a persons personal media server has to be the strangest thing i have heard yet this year. 1
