akacharos 31 Posted January 26, 2025 Posted January 26, 2025 Currently Emby has a hardcoded default to sort the items in the libraries by Title Name. This is a little annoying as any modification to the default order by the user gets lost once signed out. Ideally Emby should provide the option to set a different sort order on server side or at least let users decide the default order on their profile (other than Title Name). Personally, I always set the order by "Date added" for movies and "Last episode Date Added" for TV Shows at it provides the best experience for me and my friends to see what's added lately. Ideally, I don't want to just through hoops to set this for each and every library every time a user connects. Just planting seeds...
