Unable to delete media files

I updated to 4.9.0.37 beta and there is no longer in the context menu the ability to delete files from the client. I tried to roll back to stable but there was a database change that is preventing this. Is this going to be added back in or is there another way to delete files from the client?

Does your user have permission to/ticked "Allow Media Deletion From" for all/any particular library in user settings?
