jimbobjonesbob 7 Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 (edited) this still isn't working? latest Emby (docker) version 4.8.10.0 An episode was added earlier today, tested in emby browser, no skip intro. Ran the scheduled task, and skip intro is now there. But it's not there on its own 'when media is added' (which I have selected in my library settings). Edited January 25, 2025 by jimbobjonesbob
Luke 42077 Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 Hi there @jimbobjonesboblet's look at a specific example: How to Report a Problem Thanks !
jimbobjonesbob 7 Posted January 25, 2025 Author Posted January 25, 2025 Hey Luke I just installed a fresh Emby docker latest version, with a Library set up to create markers when media is added. What I did (and will be in the log): • Added episodes 1 & 2 - Skip Intro appeared for both • Added episode 3 separately - Skip Intro did not appear for E3 • Removed all episodes, then re-added all 3 together - Skip Intro appeared for all episodes, including E3 Why does E3 show Skip Intro when added with other episodes, but not when added individually? embyserver.txt
jimbobjonesbob 7 Posted January 25, 2025 Author Posted January 25, 2025 I might add, I need the markers to be created when media is added so that they appear in Kodi. If the markers are created later on via a scheduled task, they will not be reported to Kodi (as per quickmic).
jimbobjonesbob 7 Posted January 26, 2025 Author Posted January 26, 2025 In fact, same thing on a non-docker debian install, and same thing on a Windows installation.
Luke 42077 Posted February 12, 2025 Posted February 12, 2025 HI, we're looking into this. Thanks for reporting.

Luke 42077 Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 HI, this should be improved in the 4.9 server release. Thanks.
