Symbology / OpenVPN / Emby / MacOS connection issue

I have a Synology NAS and for the longest time I’ve used the built in OpenVPN configuration tool to generate a file, which I load into the iOS OoenVPN app on both my iPad and iPhone to connect to Emby when I’m away from home. I have allow external connections off, as I only want to access it through the NAS VPN

I recently bought a MacBook, downloaded the OpenVPN Connect app and loaded the exact same configuration file that works on iOS. It connects, I can access the NAS and the local network as I can see my router on 192.168.1.1, however when I try to connect to Emby, I just get a forbidden message. 
 

I’m just not sure why it won’t won’t via MacOS but does on iOS. Has anyone else experienced this?
