Tau512 15 Posted January 25, 2025 Posted January 25, 2025 i've been battling with this issue for a few hours now and cannot find a solution using the tools i currently have. I'm using a combination of iptveditor.com (currently in 3day trial), m3u-filter and Threadfin to manage my IPTV feed. the m3u being passed to Emby has the tvg_id in a mix of cases. eg BBC1.uk, 5star.uk, BBCOneScotland.uk etc. for simplicity, i'll use the .m3u ouput file from IPTVEditor as it's the easiest to edit and test. it appears emby is case sensitive and unable to match those that use any uppercase in the tvg_id feild (ie BBC1.uk). However if i edit the IPTVEditor to lowercase 'bbc1.uk' then emby will successfully match and display guide info. in a lineup of 900+ channels, the only one that matches without edits is the 5star.uk channel which comes lowercase from provider. I've configured Emby to use threadfin m3u for TV Source, and IPTVEditor URL for the XMLTV guide data source. i know m3u-filter allows a transform of fields to lowercase but i'm unable to get this working (documentation is confusing but i'm failing to get this to work). whats the best way to fix this?
Luke 42077 Posted January 26, 2025 Posted January 26, 2025 Hi, the lookup is case-insensitive so I don't believe this is the issue. We'd have to go over a specific example. Thanks.
