Direct playback freezes on many files

Direct playback freezes on many files (Emby Android Player 3.4.20, Emby Server Windows 4.8.10.0), but if the same file is opened through a third-party file manager (on Android, source - windows smb), then playback works smoothly.

here is the file that freezes: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19Ry72OLmVAXEABfeDWRMzB1-H7XPnxGU/view?usp=sharing

    Привет@verkhushinПожалуйста, приложите информацию, запрашиваемую в  разделе «Как сообщить о проблеме воспроизведения мультимедиа» . Спасибо!

I bought ugoos sk1, emba player freezes on many files.

I'm trying to use emby to view videos from my dji gopro camcorders.
Any other external player works fine. I tried Jellyfin, Plex, Vimu, Uplayer, as well as players in file managers, none of them freezes except Emby. It's especially strange to see this for Jellyfin.
But if you use a third-party player, the "play all from here" function stops working.
Is it possible to fix this?

You should debug such obvious bugs yourself. I will not pay and work as a debugger for free.

Hi, can you try updating to the latest version of Emby for Android? Thanks.

It is actually a valid question because the app can play in many different ways. Different things can be enabled, disabled, all of which can have an impact. Log files give us some visibility into those conditions.

Hi everyone,

I just received the same device and I'm experiencing the same issue with massive playback stutters. For reference, I've got an Nvidia Shield (2017?) connected to the same AVR and the same network switch - no issues there at all. At least on paper the SK1 should be quite a bit more powerful.

Additional info: Nvidia Shield is running Android 9, the SK1 is on Android 11.

And since I'm pretty good at keeping my entitlement in check, I'm attaching a server log here.

Additional additional Info: "The Neon Demon" played fine on the SK1, "The Abyss" is completely unwatchable due to stuttering. The difference may be that "The Neon Demon" is without HDR.

Thanks for looking into this!

Thank you!

Additional Info: I managed to get "The Abyss" to play correctly one time for a little while. In that situation, when playback starts, the HDR logo appears in the top right corner of my screen. I then stopped playback, resuming it at a later point, and the stuttering started again. In that situation, the HDR logo did not appear when playback started.
