Remove series from next up and continue watching

There was a previous thread about this topic that I can't find, but I am hoping someone can share whether this is ever going to be considered for implementation? I love Emby, and my experience has been so positive with everything else, except for this. 

I rewatch episodes from old series all the time, and I don't want them to end up in my continuing or next up lists. When they do, I have to sort through a massive list of episodes I'm not interested in watching again or watching the next of before I get to the actual things I'm actively watching. 

Any chance this will ever be implemented? Or at least considered for implementation?

Thanks for the reminder and the link. I didn't see a response indicating that it would, or would not be worked on. So what is the status?

Hi, we are actively monitoring this for community feedback. This is the process that we use to evaluate feature requests as well as prioritize them when they are to be implemented. Thanks.

Assume it's not being worked on as there are far better things that have way more upvotes that have been "coming soon" or "we can do that" for many years.

I never rewatch things so your use case to me is dumb AF....  Maybe go scroll thru that list and ask when any of those features would be implemented and why yours should come first? I see things out there from like 10yr ago not implemented that are very much valid. Im also confused as to why you would think the progress is going some where if you look at the FR it was posted in 21, you posted comments in Jan 24 and now Jan 25, clearly there is no traction for it.

You could also just write a small script or plugin to have xxx series removed from continue watching on a schedule and it runs every hour or something. I bet mr gpt could code that up for you in no time. Or go offer up a bounty in the plugin forum if its that important to you and see if someone will build it. This tends to be the issue with people, oh I just want this small thing, but its probably not really that small when you need to factor in you need to add this action in to the UI for xxx number of clients and you need to now persist the storing of xxx ids to be removed, so lets say it will take 8hrs, if only a super small fraction of people are requesting it, is it really worth it if you figure avg dev time typically bills out in the hundreds of dollars an hour.
