NordVPN is not in any way related to your problem; it is never necessary, and only of possible interest when you have remote connections.  Installing it without knowing what it can do for you will only cause confusion.

You've been told that the problem is likely down to your going back a version.  Either reinstall the current beta and take it from there, or wipe the installation and reinstall the stable version.  If you then still have a problem accessing Emby on localhost, then we have a better chance of fixing it.

Yes if you want back from 4.9 to 4.8 then that is not supported. You need to either make a fresh start with 4.8, or stay on 4.9.

A new server log for one.

But as mentioned you cannot go to an older version unless you delete the database as it is not compatible.

I still do not see how any of the nordvpn/meshnet has any relevance here.

@mrdino87Just to make sure you know what you need to delete to start afresh and get rid of the beta database and associated data:

1. In Windows Task Manager - check that EmbyServer process is not running. If you see it, right click on it and select End Task

2. When you no longer see EmbyServer in Windows Task Manager, delete this folder C:\Users\walle\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server

3. Download Emby Server 4.8.10.0 from here 

4. Open the downloaded Setup exe file

After the install the browser should open by default to go through server setup

What exactly to you see?  I am confused here as every possible step to fix your issue has been mentioned.  Please provide server logs and everything you have done.

I don't now how to get that unless there are other translations.  But suggest Emby is not running.  Does EmbyServer.exe show running it task manager?

It is a hidden folder if you have not enable show hidden folders, but assuming you are using the same user as previous logs you should be able to copy and paste that path in explorer.
