Emby Server refuses to add any new media.

Hi everyone,

Windows Server seems to be refusing to add any new media. I added said media into my library (In this case movies) worked yesterday and refuses to add anything today. Ran a library scan and it got stuck at 90-92% then it took a few hours to complete scanning my movie library. At the end of the scan none of the new media was added in.

Tried restoring to a backup and that did not fix the issue.

Any help would be great...

Log attached.,

Hi thank you for the reply.

Already set it back to Private (No idea how or when that changed) and double-checked the firewall exceptions, port forwarding in the router etc. All cleared and still not scanning properly. :( (Also performed a reset after changing it back)

Port forwarding on the router won't make any difference for emby scraping.

Have you tried rebooting the server? wait an hour or so then post the embyserver.txt here  (and the previous one as they rotate daily)

Yep, I tried rebooting the server. I will give it an hour and repost the txt.

Latest log file. Seems TV and Music library is scanning fine. Tested adding a new show in and some music. (Both scraped in just fine) Only Movies refuse to add anything.

Hi, how exactly are you determining that it's not being added?

It took nearly 2 days but the movies finally added in. Movie library scans are taking 8-12 hours now though.

Hi, can we please see an example of that? Thanks.

It seems to all be scanning just fine now. I removed a few plugins (Top Picks, Statistics, Email Notifications, Anime). Also removed then readded the entire library and swapped the metadata provider order and all seems fine now...(It could have been the long scan time issue afterwards)

Thank you for all the help.

Note: Your subtitle searches probably made this take soo long! Because you have (for the short time of the log) over 2-thousand errors for subtitles most of them from you being over your (open subtitles) 100 subtitle downloads per 24h period.

Also there are 23 portmapper errors, you should delete the portmapper plugin (and if it's not already off in your router disable UPnP) and do this manually on your router if you want access on/from the WAN.

And there my be some problems matching the file names, consider using something like;
