But still no luck [root@TNAS-1661 ~]# sudo -u emby /usr/local/emby/bin/emby-server Info Main: Application path: /mnt/md0/application/emby/system/EmbyServer.dll Info Main: Shutdown complete [root@TNAS-1661 ~]#
Seb988 0 Posted October 18, 2025 Posted October 18, 2025 Hello It seems I have similar issue from the past few weeks. I did a brand new installation after a database corruption, and it has been gotten worse every time. Now I cannot launch Emby anymore, ref logs attached, similar to the ones we saw in this topic. I tried multiple versions, from this website and Terramaster embedded catalog, and deleted all emby folders between each installation, and same result: Emby stops right after I start it. Any advice? The log shows a couple of issues Is this TOS 4 ? Iy is showing that that is the 4.9.2.4 package that you have installed and the linux version 4.4.18 Can you see what files exist in this directory "/mnt/md0/application/emby/system/" that have filename starting with "System.Net.Http" One issue is that the linux user account that embyserver runs in has no write permissions to directory "/var/run/" The second issue is an emby server system file is missing I will refer this to the development team - please do try the later 4.9.2.5 build and report back and also check contents of the emby/system directory for the missing file

When it was working, I only had to install the app and that`s it. And I use this NAS only for Emby
