raphaelm 1 Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 I have a user that is only allowed 4 folders containing a couple movies. While the user cannot see or browse to any other movie on the server, or search for a movie not in their access it does not show. But the suggestion below do not adhere to that access rule as any movie in this suggestion list will somehow allow the user to play it. Is there a way to remove suggestions from a user?

Luke 42078 Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 HI, do you have the trailer plugin installed? Could they be from that?
raphaelm 1 Posted January 17, 2025 Author Posted January 17, 2025 No trailer plugin. It's the pre generated suggestions under every search bar.
Luke 42078 Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 hi, that's odd. what version of the server?
raphaelm 1 Posted January 17, 2025 Author Posted January 17, 2025 Lastest available using docker. But I think I have an idea what happened. The user had full access before and even though the access was removed and only a couple folders remained the suggestion were still showing from before the access was removed. I made a dummy change to the user by disabling all access and then re-enabling the same access and it reset the suggestions back to only what user has access. I did notice this with library access changes, if user has access to library A consisting of folders a,b,c. Then folder d gets added into library A, the user will not see the folder even if they have the whole root folder unless the root folder is unchecked and rechecked. I think this is a bug but most users don't make changes to folder in libraries often. Thanks for the help Luke. 1
