davidawarner 12 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 Friends, Looked in the forums didn't see anything related to this so here goes. When working with the covert art of the folder the dims are 200x200 pixels. This will cover the complete folder w/o black side background. Some of my cover art size is less than 200x200 or dims do not match. In EMBY how can I have globally set to auto stretch and fill the folder and if possible? Second question ? - How do I have all folders in my music default globally to one view vs. various Please advise tvos

davidawarner 12 Posted January 16, 2025 Author Posted January 16, 2025 Hello Luke, If you look at Folder View.png these are two different albums. Bandits there are black sides and the album art does not fill the entire folder. Now, you can see Basil Poledouris is nicely fills the entire folder. I understand the dims play a factor or does it? Is there a way to have ALL my media fill the folder length x width x height? Next, if you look at View 1 and View 2 they are different listing type. I would like all folders list out as View 2. Is there a global setting in Emby to view all content as Primary view ? Please advise tvos
Luke 42078 Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 In order to have the image fill, it’s not about size but rather aspect ratio. Try using an aspect ratio of 1:1 or something close to that.
Luke 42078 Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 And there are no global view settings, but this question has come up before and is likely for future updates. Thanks.

There isn't, sorry. You wouldn't want to change the aspect ratio because let's say if you changed it to 16:9, then Bandits would fill but Basil might not. We would have to just have an option to always fill the image, but of course, for some images, this will not look good.
