IAmHugh 63 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 (edited) OK long story short [redacted] I decided to future proof myself a bit. I bought all new AM5 hardware including a new Pcie5 drive. I just finished installing RebornOS on it, setup and installed everything to my liking and all works great. The only issue I have come across is with Emby. I normally take ownership of /mnt/ and create folders in it and mount my external drives to it. This time I decided to leave them mounted in the default the system uses, for example "/run/media/cccp/My Files II". I just went to add "/run/media/cccp/My Files II/Last Night's/" to emby and I'm being told "The directory '/run/media/cccp/My Files II/Last Night's/' cound not be found.". Is there something special abuut /run/media/cccp/ I'm unaware of? Edited February 11, 2025 by GrimReaper Politics
Lessaj 467 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 What are the permissions? Try switching to emby user and see how far down the path you can navigate. sudo su -s /bin/bash emby 1

I decided to do what I have always done and move the mounts to /mnt/. Issue is now gone. Thanks again.
