Windows App : 100% Volume on playback (Win11)

Starting today,  every video playback sets the App volume at 100%.  I'm not sure if its related but there was a WIN11 service update (KB5050021) installed prior to running. 

Previously the volume would default to 100% when the App was started for the first time, but would remember the volume setting until closing the app which was annoying but manageable.  Now, its forgetting the setting after each playback.

Could it be that you have switched this (new) option on?

I have that setting set to "off".  I tried enabling it and it would not let me lower the volume within the app.

 

My setup is win11 with the OS system sound volume at 50%, my TV soundbar set to 50%, and I use Emby APP volume control to lower the volume as needed.

Fix is out now, inclluded in the latest Windows app (since 2.212.0).
