Tiramisucayman 4 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 Hello , I have an idea/search a potential feature, inspired by the Kodi Skin "Embuary." It would be amazing if a similar functionality could be added to the Emby Android App β especially for the version available on Android TV or through the app store. For Christmas: Small Santas, snowmen, snowflakes, and presents could float across the screen (only on the home screen and in the libraries). For Halloween: Small ghosts, pumpkins, and witches could appear and float across the screen. For Easter: Easter bunnies, eggs, and grass could be added as animations. Additionally, there could be a separate box on the main screen featuring seasonal suggestions from the library, such as movies or TV series matching the current holiday (e.g., Christmas, Halloween, or Easter). I believe this would add a fantastic festive atmosphere and greatly enhance the user experience. Are there any plans to implement something like this? Or is something like this already integrated? Β Best regards,
Luke 42077 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 hi, it's a nice idea. It just gets hard to spend time on it as opposed to other things.

For AndroidTV - yes, the client already has seasonal effects and an extra row showing relevant things to watch. Edited January 17, 2025 by rbjtech
