Movie Posters Missing

Recommended Posts

So, yesteraday I decided to move from Plex to Emby, because so many people recommended it online. It is actually much better than anything that I have used before. The only problem is that I can't see the movie posters, nor the tv shows ones. I tried refreshing metadata, buld and rebuild the library twice, scanned files twice and nothing solved. I'll attach my problem:

This is the log. On plex, movie posters appeared. I want to add that I use rclone_rd, so basically all my movies are from RealDebrid.

It look like Emby can't get size info from you poster.jpg.

It also look like it has problems finding the poster.jpg or permissions.

Well, in rclone_rd, I can't upload any file, even if it is a image file. my realdebrid "hardrive" has strictly video files, the movie/series ones. I can't upload any file and I can't find any file other than the movie video file. For example, the "Avicii-I'm Tim" folder on the realdebrid hardrive, there I can find only the movie file, the video one. @Neminemsaid it could be the permisions, and I don't have any idea how I can solve this. I am new to self-hosting, especially on Emby.

OK well to answer the question of what happened, you had a file at:

R:\movies\Avicii.Im.Tim.2024.1080p.NF.WEB-DL.DDP5.1.H264-FHC\poster.jpg'.
    File name: 'R:\movies\Avicii.Im.Tim.2024.1080p.NF.WEB-DL.DDP5.1.H264-FHC\poster.jpg

Then the server went looking for it, but it was no longer there. You may want to turn on the library option to keep a cached copy of image files in the server data folder so that it won't have to keep going back to your media directory to get it.
