Adorkable 9 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 There is no problem in the intranet, but when using it in the extranet, even if the network is good, it will stop playing without any signs and will never continue playing. You can only return to the main interface and click to continue playing. I never had this problem when using Windows Server before. After switching to Linux, I am not sure if it is due to version update or some other reason, but this problem keeps recurring and I have been suffering from it. The gif shows the progress of the console jumping back and forth, and the picture shows the client stuck on the page and not continuing to play. I can accept slow loading due to network problems, but forever freezing is unacceptable embyserver.txt
Solution Luke 42077 Posted January 15, 2025 Solution Posted January 15, 2025 Hi, have you tried switching to the new release of Emby for Windows? https://emby.media/emby-for-xbox.html
Adorkable 9 Posted January 16, 2025 Author Posted January 16, 2025 I have upgraded to this new version, and it looks very nice. But since this problem does not appear stably, I need to observe it for a while. This problem does not only occur on the PC side, but also on the Android app from time to time, especially when switching between WiFi and mobile networks, there is a high probability that it will appear. WiFi is not the network where the server is located, so there should be no address switching. It is accessed through the same IP as the mobile network.
Adorkable 9 Posted January 17, 2025 Author Posted January 17, 2025 So far, the pc side is fine, but Android is still a frequent occurrence 1

Next time you see this problem try to go to a terminal session on your emby server df -h while it's happening..
