Fire TV Cube latest model DTS issue

This is using the emby for fire tv app but regular emby app on appstore has the same issue. I can't get DTS to play direct on this device without video stuttering/AV sync issues. But works fine when I disable DTS on emby settings where it just says software decode. I'm using this sound bar Fire TV Soundbar Plus | Amazon error happens with or without it. Video works fine with dts directly with emby theater on my computer so it's not my video. Cube is connected to wifi. 2.4ghz/5ghz makes no difference. Logs show which first playback was on computer, 2nd on emby for fire tv.

Do you have any subtitles enabled?

It only has .srt so if they were i had that on. I just tested it with them off right now and same issue. When i played the secondary ac3 commentary audio it plays fine.

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Same issue, video freezing audio is desynced. It's not really usable since i can't disable dts passthrough on this version through playback settings.

Thanks, I also have a problem with overlayed .ass subtitles not showing up for anime too. The ones that replace signs/text from japanese with english or puts english text on top of them. Not just a text at the bottom like a regular subtitle. Windows store emby and ipad emby work good with those forced .ass subtitles tho. This is with the emby for fire tv since i can't use the other android app because i can't disable dts passthrough to fix audio/stutter. Plx is also showing the same .ass subtitle track correctly and how the other emby apps are.

Edit:

This seems to be a fire tv cube 3rd gen issue. I swapped a fire tv 4k max and all the issues were fixed. Direct passthrough dts and the .ass subtitle issue.
