gillmacca01 211 Posted January 13, 2025 Posted January 13, 2025 I have 5 backups using the built-in backup plugin. A couple of days ago my IPTV link went down, I was supplied another link, which I have been gradually rebuilding (correct channel number/names, etc). I have now been informed that the original link now works, so I thought, great, I will just restore the backup from just before it went down, but when the server restarting, it still had the new link - basically live tv hadn't restored. Is live tv configuration backed up using the plugin? Just incase I'm restoring wrong, I am restoring 'Emby server databases - 2025-01-11 00.16.12'. Is this what I should be restoring?
gillmacca01 211 Posted January 13, 2025 Author Posted January 13, 2025 (edited) I've just deleted all the backups, and tole Emby to backup. In the new backup under livetv.xml, it has the url of the m3u file as xteve. I haven't used xteve in about 4 months and it is not listed under tv providers in Emby - it was removed from my Emby 3 or 4 months ago Edited January 13, 2025 by gillmacca01

gillmacca01 211 Posted January 13, 2025 Author Posted January 13, 2025 I presume it is stored in the database somewhere then. Doesn't really explain why it would not restore the previous tv guide settings, and it will now take me a couple of weeks to re-set it all up
Luke 42077 Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 It should have. We'll take a look at that. Thanks.
