Continual "Recovering from Playback Error"

Just recently, within the last two weeks, remote connections to my Emby Server have been effectively unusable.
User can connect the server without issue as well as navigate through the server.
Once media is selected to run, the issue arises.
Initially the media takes a while to load (>60s).
The transcoding appears to be working correctly, but playback either won't start, or will play for 3 seconds and then stop for another 20+ seconds (even though the media has been transacted far beyond this point).

While looking at the users in the Dashboard, I can see two unusual items of note:
1) In the streaming section, the text reads Throttling and  "Recoving from Playback Error"
2) The IP address bounces back and forth between two different IPs, neither of which seem to be the IP of the client streaming.

I am running on Synology NAS DS923+ DSM 7.2.2-72806 Update 2.
Emby version 4.8.10.0

I have attached screenshots of the playback error and the alternating IP addresses (again, neither of which appear to be the client accessing the system).
I have also attached the most recent log files from the last attempt.

I have been running on the Synology NAS for 9 months without issue and this seemed to crop up suddenly out of nowhere.

You could send me the raw log files by Private Message and I will look into what was logged for IP addresses and source of the requests - the log files are here

Is the problem reproducible ? Does the problem go away if you disable throttling in the server settings for Transcoding?

(I notice some port mapping errors in the log - do you have manual port forwards in the router to your public wan ports ? Or may be the local IP address changed for the server and there is still mapping to the old IP address ?)

@cp41Are you still having the issue?
Have you tried restarting Emby Server?

Hello. Thank you for following up. I did try restating my Emby server. As well as the Synology NAS. I restarted the NGINX service as well. None of that seemed to do anything. Turns out, I needed to restart the entire Raspberry Pi I use to run NGINX. Not sure why stopping and starting the service itself didn’t achieve the goal that came with restarting the whole (little) box. Once I rebooted the Raspberry Pi, everything was ship shape again. I’ll probably look for some different hardware to run my reverse proxy service since the Pi seems to be having recurring issues.
