The file cannot be played on the Samsung app, but it works on Android and Windows

Hello, I am unable to play several files on the Emby app for Samsung TV. The same content works fine on the Windows (Chrome) app and Android app (version 3.4.20). The series is correctly identified, including the name, images, seasons, and episodes. However, when I try to play an episode, the screen remains black. After about a minute, an error message appears:

Media player error code: PLAYER_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED _FILE
Media player error code: PLAYER_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED_FORMAT
Media player error code: PLAYER_ERRORNOT_SUPPORTED_FILE, player state: IDLE

Following this, the entire app becomes slow and laggy for a few minutes, but then it works normally again.

It looks like the file has embedded fonts which I suspect the player doesn't like, so it fails DirectPlay but your server isn't able to transcode the file fast enough so that is also failing for you.

You can try using MkvToolnix to extract just the Video, audio and ass subtitle stream to a new file and add that to your library and see if it plays.

Sorry for the late reply. No, it doesn't help. After hours of struggle, I downloaded a different version.
