movieguy94110 1 Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS (GNU/Linux 6.5.0-35-generic x86_64) Emby Server 4.8.10.0 Was working fine last night. Rebooted emby-server, tried rebooting the server, tried rebooting the Chromecast, rebooted my router. No luck. Have tried several media files. Only have issues with ones that have subtitles. embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-0f92f207-e838-46cd-bda5-4cfababa564c_1.txt
Luke 42077 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 HI, we're looking into this. Thanks for reporting.
martijnds 8 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 Same probleme here... files with embedded subs don't seem to load anymore (transcoding). Wheels just keeps spinning forever... External subs or disabling subs while opening the file seems to be a workaround but it is annoying.
movieguy94110 1 Posted January 19, 2025 Author Posted January 19, 2025 Subtitles are the whole reason I pay for Emby. Any progress on this issue? Should I downgrade to a previous version? If so, which one?
Luke 42077 Posted January 23, 2025 Posted January 23, 2025 hi, we're still looking into this. Thanks.
