Shortcut for next/previous chapter

Hello,

I'm using the new Emby app, v 2.207.2.0, with Emby Server version 4.8.10.0 (all running on Windows).  Very excited about the new app by the way, job well done!

Here's my question, is there a keyboard shortcut or windows remote button that will advance to the next or previous chapter when watching a video?  A long time ago in the Emby Theater app the keyboard PgUp and PgDwn keys did this, but that function stopped working like a year ago.  I was hoping it would work again in the new Emby App, but after installing and testing today it looks like it does not.

I have found the following Emby support article that talks about keyboard shortcuts: Keyboard and Remote Support | Emby Documentation

It mentions ChUp/ChDwn, PgUp/PgDwn, and Ctrl-F/Ctrl-B as all performing this next/previous chapter function.  But none of these work in the new Emby (and they had stopped working on Emby Theater also for some reason).  

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!  Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply.  I'm not looking to play the next media file in a TV series.  Actually, ChUp/ChDwn, PgUp/PgDwn and Skip Next/Skip Prev already do this (go to next or previous episode in a TV series).  For example, if I'm watching episode 3 and press ChUp or PgUp or Skip Next it will take me to the start of eposide 4 (the next episode).

What I'm wanting to do is go to the start of the next chapter within a given media file (TV show or movie).

I just checked in Emby web app.  PgUp/PgDwn and Ctrl-F/Ctrl-B both go to the next or previous chapter in a movie from my movie library.  But they both go to the next or previous episode when watching a TV program in my TV library.

That caused me to wonder and so I checked again on my HTPC with the new Emby app.  Same response.  Works for chapters in a movie but goes to next or previous episode with TV shows.

I do see the value in having a shortcut that does next/previous episodes for TV.  But it would also be nice to still be able to have next/previous chapters in TV episodes as well.  This definitely used to work a year ago with TV shows in Emby Theater (I process all my recorded TV to mark chapters at the end of every commercial so I can use next-chapter to skip commercials while watching).

If you're tracking the other issue related to FF/REW buttons not being able to be pushed more than once, this issue appeared at the same time as the next/prev chapter functionality stopped working.

Don't really care what they are, just really looking for a keyboard shortcut for chapters in a TV program....

These are all the same for both movies and episodes. I think it might be data related and is resolved in the upcoming 4.9 release.
