Ive noticed an issue with any tv series that go over 9 seasons once it gets to 10 it starts merging 10+ specials, 11+1 ,12+2, im at a loss as to what might be causing this
I manage my metadata with Tiny Media Manager, ive confirmed everything is correct n TMM + the nfo file and using emby metadata manager i can see that shows are listed correctly as season 1 and season 11 but its still merging, can anyone assist??

Hi.  I'm going to guess it has to be related to this.

Please show us exactly how your files are named and organized and what the metadata looks like.

Hi.  Can we look at the seasons that have the problem?

Also, a screenshot of exactly what you mean by the above would be helpful.

Thanks.

so the screenshots show
the show starting with season 10
season 11 starting  with the pilot episode
the jump between the end of season 1 and the actual season 11
the metadata pages for s01e01 and s11e01

note: almost every show with >10 seasons is effected and it only effects 0-9 being merged with 10-19 any shows that exceed 20 seasons everything from 20 onwards is fine

So it has to be something in your setup as, obviously, we'd have everyone out here with this problem otherwise.

Can you try creating a new TV series in your system and don't use TMM for its metadata.  Does it work properly?

ok so the problem is not TMM ive added a new show and it works properly and i used TMM to scrape the metadata, i cant imagine how TMM could be the issue anyway as we've checked all the metadata and the file structure is correct and thats all tmm would affect aswell it has previous worked correctly in the passed for over a  year before this happened and ive been using TMM for longer than ive been usng emby.

I'm going to have to ask @sa2000to help you investigate further but we may be dealing with some sort of database corruption here...

I entirely removed a directory from my library and re-added it the issue persists, if i try anything further ill update here

What are your library setting as I just added the nfo provided above and it presents as S01E01.  As nothing stands out within the metadata or images provided.

@DaniRaiQI will want to look at your database. So I will send you a link to use to upload the library.db file

Also could you get a full filelist of the directory structure and files for American Dad - I tend to use Treesize but don;t think the free version allows you to export

I will send you a link to use for uploading the diagnostics. Also would like to have log from the server with debug logging enabled covering the time when you display season 1 which ends up showing the season 1 episodes and then season 11 first episode
