Emby not showing music lryics on downloaded music

I was testing out using timestamped LRC files to add lryics to my Emby music. It works really well on the web version, and when I am streaming the music to my device from my server, but when I download the music to my phone it doesn't show any lryics. I assume this is just a bug with Emby, or maybe an issue with lrc files not being downloaded alongside music files.
