Live TV options missing

Hello !

My setup is like this:

Emby server and NextPVR on my Qnap ( both latest version and 'registed' )

Emby player Tizen on my Samsung Smart TV (latest version too)

 

I added my xstream account on NextPVR and added channels. Everything is ok in Emby server/player.

When using Tizen app,watching a Live TV,  only play and return buttons of the remote do something. I cant acces by pushing button down to info, guide, etc...

EPG guide is ok in Emby(first picture)

Second picture is when watching, only play and return works

Third picture, is my setup,using Emby apk on android. As you Can see, info and guide are displayed, so NextPVR <-> Emby works ok

 

Someone else got this issue?

Adding Tizen version to latest

When you say latest version, what is the version number and tv model?

Are you using the Samsung remote control or a universal remote? Does the guide work when you select it directly from the LiveTv library?

Can you please attach a server log from when you test this on the tv?

my tv is an samsung model UE40MU6105

Emby tizen version is 1.9.5

 

im using original samsung remote. watching movies on 'normal' use of emby does the job( pressing down button go to info chapters ,up to parameters like subtitles . on live tv none are accessible !)

guide is working ok from the livetv library

attached log below, i reduced it. first time at 19:34 are log from the samsung tv directly

at 19:42 is using emby apk on android,which works fine

For your information, I tried using an gamepad and an keyboard, using down button i can access to the info/guide etc... But not with the Samsung remote

@Luke, this is caused by no elements having focus on the OSD when playing live TV, so this prevents navigation and being able to access the guide.

Same issue here, and I cannot skip forward or back on live tv. It really put a damper on convincing my family this is a great solution. Help please.

For information,watching a movie/série, when checking what's now or guide, live tv is ok and can be chosen.

But when the overlay disappear, 'o more option available
