Premiere Basic subscription for non US customers

The current Emby Premiere Subscription is no solution for non US customers as the most important features are either not supported or blocked outside US.

A short example:

- Program guide is US only

- Most IP TV services in Europe (Waipu, Freenet in Germany foe example) are not supported.

- DVR is not supported as most TV services are not supported or recording is blocked due to encryption/block.

It's quite understandable why many European users are not interested in paying 100 dollars or a high monthly fee without being able to take benefit of what they pay for.

Therefore I suggest a Emby Basic Subscription for a reduced fee, containing only features that are not US dependent:

- transcoding

- free app playback on Smartphone and TV

- offline/download feature

- backup/sync

So all polish TV stations are officially available via web stream and for recording?

Kinda surprises me as in Germany for example, you actually gave to pay for an provider to watch, and even then recording us restricted to their cloud only.

That's a very specific requirement, free and ip-stream.

Generally:

You don't have to pay, if you dont need the privatly owned channels in HD or Pay-per-View (i.e. Sky).

What you need is a SAT-> IP Receiver, i.e. https://www.amazon.de/dp/B016XL584C?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3, when you connect this to your satellite dish and/or multi-switch and aditionally to your LAN, you can watch all the free channels in your lan with a free player, i.e. VLC.

With commercial software (i.e. DVB-Viewer) you can even record those.
