playback of new 4k file pauses every 30 seconds

hello,

I am attempting to playback a movie for the first time in 4k on my Google TV 4k Streamer with the latest emby but the playback seems to pause every 30 seconds.  as I've been a lurker here for a while but a paid lifetime user many times it is asked if playback works fine through web.  I have downloaded to my same Android TV, browser.app. in playback using browser.app and emby web playback is flawless.

 

could one give direction on what I should check to address the playback issues seem theough the emby apk?

Hi @dustybooga, you'll need to replicate the issue and provide some logs, see:  how to report a media playback issue. 

In the meantime, you can try installing the standard Android app on your device by searching for just "Emb" in the app store, and see how it compares.
